Landscaping Technician Man’s Asap Landscaping LaGrange, GA 30240 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various landscapes, including gardens, parks, and residential properties. The Landscape Technician will utilize various tools and equipment to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize power tools and hand tools for various landscaping projects, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth. Conduct tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal as necessary. Build and maintain garden beds, installing plants, flowers, and shrubs according to design specifications. Assist in groundskeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and order in outdoor spaces. Monitor plant health and identify any pest or disease issues, reporting them promptly for resolution. Collaborate with team members to complete landscape projects on time while adhering to quality standards. Skills Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques with hands-on experience using power tools and hand tools. Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to effectively irrigate landscapes while understanding water conservation practices. Experience in tree care, including knowledge of proper pruning techniques and plant health management. Familiarity with garden design principles and the ability to build aesthetically pleasing landscapes. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently.
