In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of residential and commercial landscapes. You will work outdoors, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure lawns and gardens are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a team environment and have a passion for landscaping and lawn care. Responsibilities Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to maintain gardens and landscapes. Assist in planting, digging, and building garden beds as needed. Conduct regular inspections of lawns to identify issues such as pests or diseases. Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides according to safety guidelines. Maintain equipment by cleaning, sharpening blades, and performing minor repairs. Participate in snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Skills Proficiency in groundskeeping techniques with a strong understanding of lawn care practices. Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power equipment. Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of landscaping equipment. Ability to dig, plant, and landscape effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Good physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
