We are professional, diverse, and enthusiastic about volunteerism. Our mission is to address inequities in education through dedicated service. Our volunteers work in schools, mentorship programs, and clubs to aid students in their education careers. NDMV members and volunteers serve alongside communities to expand access to education. Members provide support in a range of learning environments, including schools and community centers. With NDMV’s participation, learners of all ages are able to receive the individualized instruction that is the key to unlocking their full potential. We are looking for a Garden Associate to join our team and help us maintain our beautiful gardens. The successful candidate will be responsible for planting, weeding, pruning, and watering plants, as well as helping to design and create new gardens. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and be knowledgeable about the different types of plants and their needs. Additionally, the Garden Associate should have excellent customer service skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with selecting plants and gardening supplies. Provide advice on planting, pruning, and other gardening techniques. Maintain the garden center, including stocking shelves and organizing displays. Water plants and maintain the garden area. Operate equipment such as mowers, edgers, and blowers. Maintain records of inventory and sales. Be knowledgeable about the products sold in the garden center.
