Groundskeeper Position Available In St. Tammany, Louisiana

Staffmark is seeking a skilled and reliable Groundskeeper to join a dedicated team in Saint Benedict, LA. If you have three years of groundskeeping experience, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive work environment with long-term potential.

Pay Rate:

$19/hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM As a Groundskeeper, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and safety of the grounds. Duties include mowing lawns, trimming weeds, raking leaves, and removing debris. You’ll empty trash and recycling containers, trim bushes and hedges, and plant flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed. You may also be responsible for applying fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides under direction, and performing seasonal tasks like pruning or cutting trees. Routine maintenance on landscaping equipment and other related duties may also be assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience operating power equipment such as mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, and blowers Skilled in using hand tools for landscaping tasks Strong understanding of landscaping practices and techniques Ability to follow instructions, manage time effectively, and work independently Physically able to walk, bend, stretch, kneel, climb, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
