Description Seasonal Gardener for Beautiful, Private Estate on MDI Looking for local self-motivated, collaborative, and responsible seasonal gardeners to join established team on private estate located in Mount Desert Island, ME. Plant knowledge and experience a plus, but not required. Position will start in April/May through October, Monday – Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm. Job duties include but are not limited to: Greenhouse seeding
Spring plantings of cut-flower and vegetable gardens,
Maintain annual and perennial gardens
Harvest vegetables
Weeding
Some grounds maintenance.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Previous gardening experience preferred
Attention to detail, ability to work in a professional manner around high net-worth individuals while protecting privacy and confidentiality.
Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment requirements
