Full Job Description General Laborer Job Description Job Summary:

The Landscape Crew Member will work alongside team members and crew leaders to create and maintain high-quality outdoor spaces for our clients. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining landscapes, planting and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers, mowing lawns, trimming and edging, mulching, and performing general clean-up of outdoor areas. This role requires operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers while following safety protocols and ensuring a professional, well-kept appearance of all landscapes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct oversight over other personnel.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Consistently uphold and exceed Focal Pointe’s quality standards in all landscaping tasks. Collaborate effectively with team members in pairs and larger groups to complete projects efficiently. Operate and maintain powered landscaping equipment, including mowers, line trimmers, backpack blowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, sod cutters, and aerators. Maintain and enhance established landscapes by mowing, mulching, aerating, weeding, trimming shrubs, removing plants, and edging around flower beds, walkways, and walls. Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hand pruners, and hedge trimmers to complete detailed landscape work. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears, pruners, and chainsaws to promote healthy growth and maintain a polished appearance. Ultimately, you will make our spaces are healthy and beautiful. Other duties as assigned.

See details of objects that are more than a few feet away. The employee will also be required to lift and move up to 50lbs. This job primarily operates in an outdoor setting. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position that is expected to work at assigned site. Work hours are generally Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 P.M., however some flexibility of the schedule is permissible with supervisor approval. Overtime, evenings and weekend work may be required, as well as occasional day-time travel.
