Job Description
Elite Lawn and Landscaping, Inc. has ____ openings for Winter Lawncare Technician, temporary, full-time, period of need: 10/01/2025 – 01/06/2026. The Winter Lawncare Technicianswill perform both landscaping and lawncare maintenance work, and then snow removal and related duties throughout the winter months. Specifically, the workers will use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes; operate vehicles or powered equipment such as mowers, weed-eater blower, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws; water lawns, trees, or plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans; prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saws (all done on ground level); perform tasks such as cutting grass, weed eating, edging, blowing grass clippings off concrete, weed pulling, planting shrubs/trees/flowers, building new beds, mulching, shrub trimming; use wheel barrel to move materials. Additionally, the workers will use snow shovels, motorized snow blowers, hand powered snow distributors, and vehicle powered snow scrapers to remove snow and hand and vehicle powered ice melt distributors to remove ice, from residential and commercial properties.
No education or experience required. Random drug screen upon hire (paid by employer) and post-accident testing (paid by employer). 40 Hours per week. Work will generally be performed7 am to 4 pm M-F, including 1 hour unpaid lunch break, although weekends may be required due to weather. OT may be available but is not guaranteed.
Work location:
2247 Front Street, Pevely, Missouri, 63070 and multiple worksites within the following counties: Jefferson County, St. Louis County, St. Louis City, Lincoln County, Franklin County, St. Charles County. Daily transportation to and from the worksite from a centralized designated pick-up place will be provided to workers at no charge. Employer provides incidental transportation between worksites. On the job training will be provided at no cost.

Hourly wage:
$19.30 per hour; Overtime wage: $28.95 per hour. A single workweek will be used to determine wages;biweekly payroll.
Boarding options:
Voluntary low-cost housing is available to workers for the option to board, $250 per month for housing is deducted from worker’s paycheck for workers who choose housing; all utilities paid; housing is not mandatory. Employer will make all deductions from workers’ paycheck as required by law; deductions employer intends to make from paycheck, which are not required by law, if applicable, would be deductions for housing, as discussed above, if employee chooses voluntary housing option. The employer will pay in advance or reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). For workers outside reasonable commuting distances, inbound transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if the worker completes half of the employment period (50% period), if not already paid in full prior to the 50% period. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided for or paid to same worker if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer except where the worker has employment with a subsequent employer.
The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day of travel or the current minimum subsistence amount published in the Federal Register, to a maximum of $68.00 per day or the current maximum amount published in the Federal Register to workers with acceptable receipts. Employer will pay for the workers’ cost of retu n transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker, disregarding intervening employment, departed to work for the employer, if the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed from employment for any reason by the employer before the end of the period, as is also outlined above. Employer will provide workers, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, equipment required to perform duties assigned. The employer guarantees to offer work for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period, beginning with the first work day after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment and ending on the expiration date specified in this job order or its extension, if any. The employer may include all hours actually worked as well as any hours offered consistent with the job order that a worker chooses to not work, up to the maximum number of daily hours on the job order.
