Property Maintenance Groundskeeper Overview:

We are seeking a reliable Property Maintenance Groundskeeper to help maintain a private farm in the Wildwood, MO area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor grounds to ensure they are clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The starting pay rate is $20 per hour with an estimated 20 to 40 hours per week.

Duties:

Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding using high quality stand-on mowers, edgers, and power weeding equipment Provide lawn care services including watering, weeding, fertilizing, and seeding Plant, prune, tie, thin fruit, and shoots from vines, repair trellis systems, spray vines using prescribed chemicals, assist with the harvesting of the fruit in vineyard Sweep and clean pathways, driveways, and outdoor spaces Use pressure washers to clean all types of surfaces Maintain and service swimming pools, including vacuuming, skimming, scrubbing surfaces, test water chemistry and adjust chemical levels as needed Inspect pool equipment for damage or malfunction, including repair or replacement of filters, pumps, and heaters Clean, organize, and maintain equipment and tools in garages and maintenance buildings Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record with periodic checks

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in lawn maintenance preferred Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment and use hand tools, safely and effectively Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, crawl into awkward spaces, and stand/walk for prolonged periods Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions and wear personal protective equipment as needed Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
