Midland, NC 28107 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to groundskeeping, tree care, and overall landscape management. The Landscape Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Perform groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to maintain a neat appearance. Care for trees through proper pruning, trimming, and health assessments to promote growth and longevity. Dig and prepare soil for planting new trees, shrubs, and other landscaping features. Build landscape features such as flower beds, retaining walls, and pathways as needed. Maintain equipment used in landscaping tasks, ensuring they are in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Skills Proficiency in groundskeeping techniques and practices. Experience in tree care, including tree trimming and health assessments. Knowledge of lawn care practices such as mowing and fertilization. Ability to dig and prepare soil for planting. Skills in building landscape features that enhance outdoor spaces. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols while working outdoors. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
