The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and grounds maintenance, with experience in various lawn care practices. This role involves working outdoors to maintain and enhance the beauty of residential and commercial properties through effective lawn care techniques. Responsibilities Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating lawns. Execute landscape maintenance duties such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Utilize power tools and hand tools for various landscaping projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe. Engage in tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and aesthetics. Assist with hardscape installations including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly. Skills Strong knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform groundskeeping tasks including digging, planting, and weeding. Experience with snow plowing operations is a plus. Familiarity with hardscape installation processes is advantageous. Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards are met.
