The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain beautiful and functional throughout the seasons. Duties As a Landscape Technician, your responsibilities will include: Performing landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Digging and preparing soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees. Conducting groundskeeping activities to maintain the aesthetic appeal of gardens and landscapes. Implementing lawn care practices including fertilization, aeration, and weed control. Assisting in tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety. Building landscape features such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls as needed. Operating snow plowing equipment during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Experience The ideal candidate should possess: Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation and maintenance. Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with various landscaping techniques and plant care practices. A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions.
