The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the ability to maintain and enhance the beauty of various landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, including lawn care, tree trimming, and hardscape installation. The Landscape Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that all landscaping projects meet our high standards. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing lawns. Execute snow plowing duties during winter months to ensure safe access for clients. Irrigate landscapes effectively to promote healthy plant growth. Conduct tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and aesthetics of trees. Dig and prepare garden beds for planting flowers, shrubs, and other plants. Install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly. Communicate with clients regarding their landscaping needs and provide recommendations. Qualifications Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, and plant care is beneficial. Ability to operate hand tools safely, including shovels, rakes, pruners, and blowers. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality results. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
