Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will work under the direction of a Crew Leader, assisting with lawn and landscape maintenance while ensuring the highest quality standards. This position requires reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and are motivated to grow within the company.

Qualifications:

At least 2 year of experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance.

MUST HAVE

valid NC Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check as part of the hiring process. Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow directions, work well with others, and be a team player. Self-motivated with attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the maintenance of landscapes, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, and general clean-up. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently. Support the Crew Leader and other team members in executing daily work schedules and ensuring job sites meet company quality standards. Help with loading, unloading, and organizing company equipment and materials for daily routes. Maintain cleanliness and proper use of company trucks, trailers, and equipment. Work efficiently and collaborate with teammates to complete tasks on time. Follow safety guidelines and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Display a willingness to learn and grow, taking initiative to develop skills and advance within the company.

Required Skills & Abilities :

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills. Capable of working 8-10 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays due to weather-related delays. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of plant care, irrigation, and common landscape maintenance practices. Ability to identifying common landscape issues such as watering deficiencies, pests, and plant diseases.
