Full Job Description Landscape Maintenance Crew Member Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Crew Leader, assisting with all aspects of lawn and landscape maintenance while upholding the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, team-oriented, and take pride in their work. Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance. Valid NC Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required). Must be able to pass a background check. Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions, collaborate effectively, and contribute as a team player. Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Professional appearance and a consistently positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, and clean-up. Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools. Support the Crew Leader in executing daily job schedules and ensuring all tasks meet company standards. Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment for daily operations. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper use of company vehicles and tools. Work efficiently with team members to complete tasks on time and with quality. Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Show a willingness to learn, take initiative, and pursue opportunities for skill development and advancement.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management abilities. Capable of working 8-10 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays (due to weather delays). Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of plant care, irrigation, and landscape maintenance practices. Ability to identify common landscape issues, including under-watering, pests, or plant diseases. Why Join Us?
