As a Groundskeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept, safe, and inviting. Responsibilities Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass and plant life. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks such as trimming bushes, planting flowers, and maintaining garden beds. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing maintenance or repair. Assist in landscape maintenance projects including mulching, weeding, and seasonal planting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all tools and equipment used in groundskeeping activities. Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects as needed. Requirements Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment is essential. Knowledge of lawn care practices and plant care techniques is advantageous. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics in outdoor spaces. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job location.
