Tree Crew Groundsman Position Available In Moore, North Carolina

Tree Crew Groundsman Dave’s Tree Service, LLC Vass, NC 28394 Overview Dave’s Tree Service is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Groundsman Crew Member. You will play a vital role in our team, working outdoors to maintain and enhance the health and aesthetics of trees within our clients’ properties. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about arboriculture and looking to build a career in the field. Position is year-round, full-time, with unlimited room for advancement. Compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications. After 90 days, members are eligible for disability and life insurance and 7 paid holidays.

Basic Job Duties Include:

• -Assist in the execution of tree maintenance and removal tasks, following industry
• standards and safety protocols.
• -Assist with the clean-up and removal of tree debris from job sites.
• -Collaborate effectively with the crew members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
• -Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• -Drive large trucks and pull trailers.
• -Self-motivated, attention to detail, strong work ethic, while taking pride in your work.
• -Must have a driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Advanced Job Duties Include:

• -Tree rigging in the canopy and from the group running the rope.
• -Operating an aerial lift, mini skid steer, grapple truck, and other tree-related equipment.
• -Knowledge and execution of basic tree cutting methods, in the tree and on the ground are a strong bonus to complete pruning, felling, and shaping of trees to enhance their health, appearance, and safety.

Qualifications:

• -One-year previous experience in tree work, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping is a plus. Being a team player with willingness to learn and grow within the role is essential.
• -Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• -Strong attention to detail, communications, and commitment to safety protocols.
