The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscape maintenance. The Groundskeeper will ensure that all grounds are properly cared for, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the property. Responsibilities Maintain the landscape by mowing, trimming, and edging lawns to ensure a neat appearance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Perform lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding as needed. Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to promote healthy plant growth. Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper care and maintenance. Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris and litter regularly. Collaborate with team members to execute landscape projects efficiently. Experience Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is essential. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, and garden maintenance is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
