The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscaping practices. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various landscapes, ensuring that properties are well-kept and inviting. The Landscape Technician will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities Perform landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. Maintain existing landscapes through mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers. Assist in masonry projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects that may involve drywall installation or repair. Read blueprints to understand project specifications and layout designs. Conduct construction estimating for landscaping projects to ensure proper resource allocation. Install flooring materials as needed in outdoor structures or garden features. Lay tile for decorative pathways or water features within landscaped areas. Apply plaster for finishing touches on masonry work or garden structures. Work alongside carpenters to restore or build landscape features such as decks or pergolas. Experience Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with masonry techniques and materials is a plus. Experience in remodeling projects involving drywall or flooring installation is advantageous. Knowledge of blueprint reading is beneficial for understanding project layouts. Ability to perform construction estimating to assist in project planning. A background in tile laying or plaster application will be considered an asset. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
