Public Works Part-time Summer Landscaper Zebulon, NC Zebulon, NC Assist the Public Works Operations team with various aspects of landscaping duties. Detailed Work Activities The landscaper will be responsible for the following: Operating a weed eater, edger, blower, and hedge trimmer Mowing grass with a zero turn or walk-behind mower Planting flowers or shrubs, mulching, and installing decorative stone Assisting with preventive maintenance on landscaping equipment Performs other duties as assigned This listing is intended only as an illustration of the various types of work performed. Hours & Conditions of Work:

This seasonal position is scheduled to work 6am – 2:30pm every Monday through Friday beginning in June and ending in September. This is a part-time position that will be limited to 1,000 working hours. The nature of this work will require staff to work outside for extended periods of time, often in unfavorable weather conditions. Duties may require one to sit, stand, stoop, bend, lift, and reach. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential functions satisfactorily.
