Vineyard Crew Member Castello Barone Vineyards & Winery 475 Groce Road, Ronda, NC 28670 Overview Castello Barone Vineyards is looking for a reliable, trust-worthy Full-time salary exempt worker for day to day vineyard operations. This is not a desk job — if you’re afraid of getting dirty, sweaty, or wet, this isn’t for you. Expect lots of walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting 50+ lbs. You’ll be hands-on in the vineyard, handling everything from canopy management to harvesting, as well as mowing and maintenance to whatever it takes to keep the operation running smoothly. We’re looking for someone with solid people skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay focused even when the tasks are repetitive. You’ll also need to be okay with North Carolina’s ever-changing weather — rain or shine, the work goes on. Requirements:
To be considered for this position, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. All new hires will be required to complete a federal W-4 form and a North Carolina NC-4 form for tax withholding purposes. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time. Strong work ethic Reliable transportation Must be able to communicate and have basic reading & writing, in English. ` Must be able to lift 50+lbs. Will be working in the vineyards, and be able to walk, bend, kneel, crouch (a lot of up and down motion. Will be performing canopy management (tying vines, tucking, shoot suckering, shoot thinning, leaf pulling, manual hedging, harvesting and pruning) Must be able to work extended hours during August through October for harvest as necessary Must have some vineyard experience or agricultural experience Not Required but a

Mechanical aptitude – upkeep of equipment Previous tractor experience An appreciation for wine Forklift certification a plus
