This is a Monday -Friday schedule. Cemetery Groundskeeper is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks in order to complete cemetery grounds maintenance. The grounds maintenance crew member will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specified job tasks. Cut grass, trim edges, clean up debris, blow trimmings, water turf areas and perform other landscape maintenance duties as directed by the crew leader. Move and install mulch, soil, and sod and plant material to assist with the enhancement of cemetery grounds. Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, push mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift. Shifts can include walking, standing, crouching for long periods of time – excellent stamina required. Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold. Grounds Maintenance Crew Member must have Customer and quality focus, Effective communication skills.
