The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape maintenance, with hands-on experience in various gardening techniques. This role involves working in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring that gardens and landscapes are maintained to the highest standards. Stem and Petal is a small, woman-owned fine gardening business which services the seacoast area. Duties Perform regular garden maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and mulching. Utilize hand tools effectively for planting, trimming, and maintaining garden beds. Assist in landscape design and implementation for new projects Monitor plant health and growth Experience Previous experience in gardening required Familiarity with greenhouse operations is a plus. Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques is beneficial. Proficiency in using hand tools related to gardening tasks. A background in farming or growing plants will be considered an asset.
