Weekend Yard Worker The Yellow Dogs Barn 136 Old Concord Tpk, Barrington, NH 03825 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of outdoor spaces. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscaping and lawn care. As a Yard Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our properties are well-kept and visually appealing. Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive grass. Dig, plant, and maintain various types of plants, shrubs, and trees. Disinfect yards. Utilize hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks such as pruning, weeding, and planting. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including tree trimming and debris removal. Operate basic landscaping machinery with mechanical knowledge to enhance efficiency in yard work. Follow safety protocols while working with tools and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects efficiently. Requirements Previous experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge to operate equipment safely and effectively. Ability to use hand tools proficiently for gardening tasks. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to yard work. Must be able to follow instructions and work well both independently and as part of a team.
