Key Responsibilities
Scope
Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through a combination of jobrelated training and considerable on-the-job experience.
Completes assignments daily.
Proposes improvements to processes.
Works autonomously within established procedures and practices. Duties and Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision, maintains the outside of the facilities.
Make sure all lawns, grounds and flower beds are maintained to Whelen standards.
Adapts to new procedures, techniques, tools, material and or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish assigned tasks and goals with other grounds personnel.
Mows and dresses up the Whelen property.
Repairs all gardens so they look the best they can.
Ability to work under presser and to meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with employees and supervisors.
Run equipment that you are qualified on with care.
Remove snow and maintain a safe working environment.
Work with the JIRA system to ensure everything is documented.
Requirements Education and Experience
High School
Physical demands and abilities
Able to lift 35 pounds.
Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
Able to stand for entire shift.
