Varies, typical 8 hour shifts
Purpose:
Lead our team to landscape and maintain grounds of the outdoor multi-use event venue using zero turns, tractors, and small lawn equipment.
Primary Job Duties:
- Team members will function and work as a group to provide a clean, well landscaped, orderly facility
- Mowing, weed control, bush trimming, brush cleanup
- Miscellaneous landscaping and cleanup projects
- Maintain all lawn equipment to standard and be direct contact with vendors on servicing equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time Ability to walk Ability push, pull, lift up to 75lbs Ability to work in all weather conditions
Work Setting:
Outdoor working environment with the typical outdoor temperature fluctuations, sometimes extreme and exposed to all types of weather conditions. Working environment can be described as loud.
Position Requirements:
Previous experience in leading a landscaping team. Ability to work well with others including: co-workers, members, guests, and vendors Regular and predicable attendance Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing Use common sense and good judgment Wear common protective or safety equipment Must have valid drivers license
