Landscaper/Laborer Giovanni F Landscpaping Inc Glen Cove, NY 11542 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to lawn care, groundskeeping, and tree care, ensuring that properties are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. Duties Perform mowing and trimming of lawns using hand tools and power tools. Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscaping features such as flower beds, shrubs, and trees. Conduct groundskeeping tasks including weeding, mulching, and planting. Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment effectively. Dig holes for planting trees or shrubs and prepare soil as needed. Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools. Requirements Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping work. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods. Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. A valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory.
