Job Overview:

The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the outdoor environment of the property. This role involves planting, pruning, watering, and general upkeep of lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs to ensure a healthy and attractive landscape. The Landscaper operates landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, works independently or as part of a team, and communicates effectively with management and coworkers to maintain high standards of outdoor appearance and plant health.

Essential Job Functions:

Follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Monitor and maintain the health of plants and shrubs, identifying issues and taking appropriate action. Remove dead, unwanted, or damaged trees safely. Plant new flowers, trees, grass, hedges, and bushes according to landscaping plans. Maintain gardens and lawns through mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, and weeding. Water plants and lawns, and apply fertilizer as needed to promote growth. Load and unload equipment and tools into work vehicles. Drive work vehicles to and from job sites safely. Adhere to all safety precautions and protocols. Operate landscaping equipment, including tractors, mowers, leaf blowers, and aerators. Communicate effectively with team members and management. Work well independently and as part of a team. Landscaper Position:

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space. Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs., including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items on a regular and continuing basis. Understand and respond to employee and guest verbal requests and visual cues in a loud and extremely busy environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. 3-5 years of landscaping experience preferred, but candidates with less experience will be considered. Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. Must be at least 18 years of age.
