The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves building, maintaining, and irrigating various landscapes while ensuring the highest quality of service. The Landscape Technician will work closely with clients to enhance and preserve the beauty of their outdoor spaces. Duties Build and maintain landscape features including gardens, lawns, and hardscapes. Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth. Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various landscaping equipment. Employ hand tools and power tools for tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging. Perform tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal as needed. Conduct groundskeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of outdoor areas. Monitor plant health and address any issues related to pests or diseases. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Knowledge of tree care practices is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
