Landscape Laborer Custom sealcoating & landscaping Duanesburg, NY 12056 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong interest in landscape maintenance and design. This role involves various tasks related to garden care, lawn maintenance, and the use of both hand and power tools to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, ensuring proper irrigation and care. Utilize power tools such as blowers, trimmers, and chainsaws for efficient landscape upkeep. Operate hand tools effectively for various landscaping projects. Maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct regular groundskeeping duties to ensure properties are clean and well-maintained. Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Knowledge of garden care techniques and plant health management. Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively. Experience in landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and tree care. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscaping tasks. Ability to perform groundskeeping duties with attention to detail. Understanding of hardscape installation processes is a plus. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new techniques.
