Garden Maintenance Crew Member 1760 Homestead Farm Riverhead, NY 11901 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Crew Member to join our team. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are beautiful and healthy. This position requires hands-on work in various environments, including farms, gardens, and greenhouses. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, and fine pruning. Utilize power tools effectively and safely to complete various landscaping projects. Participate in the irrigation of plants and gardens to ensure optimal growth. Support greenhouse operations by planting, watering, and caring for plants. Engage in groundskeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas. Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently. Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials. Requirements Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping is advantageous. Knowledge of gardening practices and plant growth principles is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day. Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills (Bilingual preferred) Willingness to learn new skills related to gardening and landscaping techniques.
