Landscape Maintenance Worker Silvestri Landscape Inc Melville, NY 11747 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general maintenance tasks. If you have a passion for working outdoors and possess the necessary skills, we would love to hear from you. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to promote healthy growth. Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various maintenance tasks. Build and maintain garden structures such as raised beds or fences. Provide tree care services including pruning and removal of dead branches. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects. Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping. Knowledge of lawn care practices, irrigation systems, and plant care techniques. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. Excellent physical stamina; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required. A valid driver’s license may be required based on job responsibilities.
