Hours:

Approximately 10 hours per week (seasonal, flexible schedule)

• We are a small, community-oriented business with a strong appreciation for beautiful, well-tended outdoor spaces. We’re seeking a reliable and skilled seasonal gardener to help maintain our grounds, with a focus on sustainability and native plantings.

• Position Overview:

• The Gardener is responsible for the upkeep and beautification of our outdoor areas during the growing season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, loves the outdoors, and takes pride in a job well done.

• Responsibilities:

• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and garden areas (weeding, pruning, planting, watering, deadheading)
• Monitor plant health and report any issues (pests, disease, etc.)
• Seasonal planting and cleanup (spring prep, fall cleanup)
• Provide occasional input on plant selection or layout if desired

• Qualifications:

• Prior gardening or landscaping experience preferred
• Basic plant knowledge and ability to identify common weeds and pests
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physically able to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Must be comfortable working on a steep hillside
• Reliable and detail-oriented
