Open Position:
Garden Care & Restoration (GC&R) Crew Leaders We are an ecologically-based landscape design/build firm. We focus on utilizing native plant species and locally sourced hardscaping materials to create both beautiful landscapes and beneficial habitats. Our gardens are designed to evolve, and our skilled Garden Care & Restoration (GCR) team uses ecological methods to guide gardens to maturity, always taking into account the original design vision and the clients’ personal aesthetic, but also recognizing that the garden is a living thing and letting natural processes influence the shape it takes. We’re well-equipped to meet any challenges that arise, armed with extensive knowledge of native plants and trees, pollinator habitats, invasive control, fauna management, seasonal impacts and ecological services. Indigenous Ingenuities is also committed to working chemical-free. As a GC&R Crew Leader you will possess a strong understanding for gardening with at minimum a desire to apply ecological practices to that knowledge. The Garden Care and Restoration Team Member should have a passion for working outdoors, learning new skills, delivering quality workmanship in the field, and having fun with their team while working hard.
- Lead your crew by maintaining landscapes that look beautiful and provide ecological benefits, connecting people to their environment.
- Have the ability and motivation to perform physical labor such as: digging, mulching, planting, raking, weeding, weed whacking, pruning, pushing wheelbarrows up hills, etc.
- Work some long days during peak season and in all weather conditions.
