This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall upkeep and enhancement of commercial properties. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and groundskeeping to ensure properties are well-kept. Assist in hardscape projects such as installing patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Dig and prepare soil for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. Maintain trees through care practices including tree trimming and pruning. Utilize hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Operate mechanical equipment as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required. Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques is a plus. Ability to dig, lift, and perform physical labor for extended periods. Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and tree care techniques. Proficient in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws. Basic mechanical knowledge to operate equipment safely and effectively. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques in landscaping.
