As a Landscape Laborer, you will play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and enhancing outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Build and maintain landscape features including flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscapes. Irrigate plants and lawns effectively to ensure proper growth and health. Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and weeding gardens. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Conduct tree care activities including pruning, planting, and removal as needed. Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials. Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to optimize water usage. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment after each job. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and saws. Experience with power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws. Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions for extended periods. Knowledge of plant care techniques including watering schedules, pest management, and fertilization practices. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all landscaping projects.
