Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscaper to support regional landscaping projects for a well-established organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct, install, repair, and remove structures such as rockwork, patios, walkways, steps, fences, planters, and erosion control features. Prepare landscaping areas by removing obstructions, grading, compacting soil, and restoring the site to its original condition post-construction. Operate vehicles and equipment such as trucks, tractors, tree spades, hydroseeders, and mowers. Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, pest control, and irrigation. Plant and maintain flowers, trees, and shrubs, including pruning, feeding, and spraying as needed.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous landscaping or construction experience is preferred but not required. Experience operating light construction or landscape equipment is a plus.
Special Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Capable of working independently and within a team. Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and maintenance. Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks in various outdoor conditions. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Additional Desired Characteristics:
Experience in irrigation systems or horticulture. Familiarity with regional landscaping practices and materials. OSHA or safety certification preferred.
Work Environment:
Work is performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment. Occasional regional travel may be required based on project needs.
