The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of various green spaces, ensuring that they are well-kept and thriving. The Grounds Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to gardening, lawn care, and more. Responsibilities Perform routine lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass. Engage in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of outdoor spaces. Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing improvement or repair. Maintain equipment used in groundskeeping, ensuring all tools are in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently and effectively. Requirements Proven experience in garden or landscape maintenance is preferred. Knowledge of growing plants suitable for various climates and conditions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues in landscaping. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. A valid driver’s license may be required for operating company vehicles.
