The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a keen eye for detail. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for all visitors. This role involves working with both hand tools and power tools to perform various landscaping tasks. Responsibilities Perform regular landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Cultivate and maintain gardens by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees as needed. Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various groundskeeping tasks. Monitor the health of plants and lawns, identifying any issues such as pests or diseases. Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness. Assist in seasonal landscaping projects including planting seasonal flowers and maintaining seasonal displays. Follow safety protocols while using equipment and handling chemicals or fertilizers. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Knowledge of lawn care practices, including fertilization, aeration, and pest control methods. Familiarity with operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with an ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
