Must have a strong knowledge of landscaping methods and be proficient with a variety of tools and equipment. Will be expected to perform a variety of tasks including snow removal, lawn care, landscape bed maintenance as well as general labor tasks including moving furniture, appliances, and light construction demo. Responsibilities:
Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws and hedge or brush trimmers. Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsaws Gather and remove litter Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications :
Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper preferred Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time Willing to work in all weather elements
