Golf Course Greenskeeper Monsignor Bojnowski Manor 343 Kingstown Rd, West Kingston, RI 02892 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a combination of physical stamina, knowledge of landscaping techniques, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. The Groundskeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept, safe, and inviting for all visitors. Duties Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize power tools and hand tools to maintain gardens, flower beds, and other landscaped areas. Irrigate plants and lawns to ensure proper hydration and growth. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair. Maintain equipment used in groundskeeping activities, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition. Assist in planting new trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed to enhance the landscape. Remove debris, leaves, and litter from outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness. Collaborate with team members to plan seasonal landscaping projects. Skills Proficiency in operating power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care techniques and garden management. Experience in groundskeeping with a keen eye for detail in maintaining outdoor spaces. Ability to use hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance requirements. Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions. Good communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
