As a Lawn Maintenance Foreman, you will be responsible for maintaining and beautifying residential and commercial properties by performing various landscaping tasks. You will lead a team to ensure that outdoor spaces are properly maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. This position requires an eye for detail, physical stamina, and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

Lawn Care and Maintenance :

Mowing, trimming, and edging, and blowing.

Planting and Gardening :

Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation, as well as watering, pruning, and maintaining plant health.

Soil and Mulch Management :

Applying mulch, compost, and soil amendments to improve plant growth and maintain soil health..

General Clean-Up :

Removing leaves, debris, weeds, and dead plants from lawns, flower beds, and garden areas.

Tool and Equipment Maintenance :

Properly maintaining and cleaning landscaping tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Safety Compliance :

Adhering to all safety standards and guidelines while operating machinery and performing manual tasks.

Team Collaboration :

Working as part of a team to complete large landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications :

Required :

Proven experience in lawn Maintenance. Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery, including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems. Strong physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform manual labor for extended periods. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks. Basic knowledge of landscaping principles, including soil health, irrigation, and lawn care. Strong attention to detail and a passion for working outdoors and creating beautiful landscapes. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs). Dexterity to operate small and large landscaping equipment.

Working Conditions :

Outdoor environment with exposure to various weather conditions. May require early morning, evening, or weekend work depending on client needs. Work may involve exposure to dust, pollen, chemicals (fertilizers, pesticides), and other environmental factors. Travel to various job sites, which may require a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
