Job Summary:

Daily course maintenance is an important function of the golf course management staff, providing an essential service to members and guest. Maintenance that is properly executed will enhance the member/guest experience, allowing for an enjoyable round of golf. As we perform maintenance, it is critical we have a keen eye for detail such as litter, debris, tire tracks, smooth sand, etc.

Essential Job Functions:

Job duties include, although are not limited to: Operate hand-held types of equipment, such as: weed-eaters, back pack blowers, fly-mowers, pruners, push blowers, etc. Operate utility carts Maintain formal and native bunkers Operate mechanical sand rake Walk mow greens Edge Sprinklers, drains, yardage plates, valve boxes, etc. Edge bunkers and grass-lines Daily fueling, cleanup, and parking of equipment Fill divots Groom native areas Perform MVP duties Any other duty required by supervisor

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills; team orientated Desire to serve and create lifelong memories Previous experience in GCM not required Previous experience working outdoors desired Love for the game of golf preferred Ability to comprehend instructions given in English or Spanish Ability to work 5 days a week, weekends and holidays Perform job responsibilities and operate equipment according to the company safety and training programs

Physical Requirements:

Majority of tasks are performed outdoors in variable weather conditions, including hot, cold, windy and rainy. Temperatures can be extreme but are usually moderate. Frequently works near moving/mechanical parts. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to reach with arms and hands, bend and stoop, remain at post standing for periods of time, walk for a long distance, and is required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
