The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will utilize mechanical knowledge and various tools to ensure high-quality landscape care. Responsibilities Perform mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns to maintain a neat appearance. Dig, plant, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers as part of landscape design. Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, mulching, and fertilizing. Utilize power tools such as blowers, trimmers, and chainsaws safely and effectively. Operate hand tools for various landscaping tasks including planting and maintenance. Build and maintain landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition. Follow safety protocols while working in various outdoor environments. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Experience in mowing, tree trimming, lawn care, and general landscape maintenance is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
