Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping. This role involves various tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of residential and commercial landscapes, ensuring that properties are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained throughout the year. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing debris. Assist in garden care by planting, weeding, mulching, and maintaining flower beds. Conduct lawn care activities such as fertilization, aeration, and pest control. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete landscaping tasks. Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Provide snow plowing services during winter months to maintain safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred. Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus. Familiarity with operating hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
