Full Job Description Position Summary:

Responsible for using equipment to maintain golf course in the condition needed for a world-class golf facility.

Pay Rate:

The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Qualifications:

Must work both independently and in a team environment. Good to Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written. Must be able to pass a background check. Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Expectations & Responsibilities:

Operates golf course equipment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. Rakes sand traps, and walk-mows greens and tees. Uses Flymo and Weed Eater to trim course Sets up golf course•changes cup locations and tee markers daily. Top dresses greens and tees. Cleans debris from course and operates backpack blowers to remove debris. Place sod as needed. Cleans and lubricates equipment after each use. Walk mow greens. Assist golf superintendents in monitoring conditions of golf course. Operates fairways and rough units. Operates all large tractors All other duties, as assigned

Essential Physical Requirements:

Capable of working consecutive hours without sitting down. Must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds across medium-long distance. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop and reach. Capable of working outdoors year round in all weather conditions throughout entire shift. Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
