Groundskeeper Position Available In Charleston, South Carolina

We are looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team at a school located in Charleston, SC. This direct-hire opportunity is for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces!

Pay rate:

$19•$23 per hour

Schedule:

6:30am•2:30pm, Monday•

Friday Key Responsibilities:

Maintain school grounds, including lawns, athletic fields, plantings, trees, and paved areas using hand or power tools and equipment. Support special events by setting up tables, chairs, tents, and performing post-event grounds maintenance. Safely operate all landscape maintenance equipment. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations. Follow department rules as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Complete other duties as assigned by the Grounds Manager, Plant Manager, or Director of Facilities.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or landscape construction. Valid SC Driver’s license and acceptable MVR (motor vehicle record). High School Diploma preferred but not required.
