The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and ensuring that outdoor areas are clean, safe, and inviting. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and the overall upkeep of grounds using both hand and power tools. Responsibilities Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass. Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to ensure optimal growth and appearance. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other plants by planting, pruning, and weeding as necessary. Operate hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and hoes effectively for various landscaping tasks. Utilize power tools including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers safely and efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair. Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor spaces to ensure safety. Assist with landscape design projects as needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property. Requirements Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus. Ability to operate both hand tools and power tools safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
