Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies and safely stores pesticides to ornamental plantings in accordance with regulation. Ability to use designated tools and/or equipment as directed by supervisor, using strict safety rules and guidelines as outlined below. Maintain all aspects of property grounds. Maintain existing beds, weeding, edging, mulching, pruning of shrubs and trees. Preparation of beds, installation of plant material, planting shrubs, ground cover and trees, rotating beds as necessary for annual plantings. Maintenance of clubhouse areas, edging, mowing, blowing streets and/or parking areas. . Promote a positive working environment and relationship with all team members in all departments and divisions. Additional duties as deemed necessary. Must be able to perform tasks in an acceptable time frame. Must work well with others in a team environment and have a positive attitude. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
Safety Responsibilities and Requirements:
Actively demonstrate, encourage, and model safety rules and guidelines in accordance with state and federal law, using personal protective equipment as required. Report safety or hazard concerns to management immediately. Report any work-related injury to management immediately. Take personal responsibility for safety every day. Qualification-Requirements Experience – Education Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have working knowledge of all golf course specific operations Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind) Must be able to walk a minimum of five miles daily, able to lift 70 lbs, willing to stand or sit for long periods of time.
