The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. As a Landscape Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that landscapes are healthy, well-maintained, and visually appealing. Responsibilities Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, edging, and trimming lawns. Dig and prepare soil for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. Conduct tree care activities such as pruning and trimming to promote healthy growth. Maintain landscape features by watering, fertilizing, and applying pest control as needed. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks. Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects in a timely manner. Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing routine maintenance checks. Requirements Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to landscaping tasks. Knowledge of tree care practices and landscape design principles is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
