Are you passionate about the outdoors and keeping things green and beautiful? Forest Lake Club is looking for a Golf Course Maintenance Technician to help us keep our course in pristine condition, ensuring that our members and guests enjoy the best possible playing experience.
What You’ll Do:
Maintain the lush greens, fairways, roughs, and bunkers by mowing, trimming, aerating, and edging. Perform daily bunker maintenance, including raking, edging, and replenishing sand. Apply fertilizers and treatments to keep our course looking sharp. Operate a variety of equipment, from mowers to blowers, while making sure everything runs smoothly. Care for our trees and shrubs, trimming, planting, and removing when necessary. Assist with exciting special projects like course renovations and new landscaping installations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment storage.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is a plus, but not required—we’re willing to train! Knowledge of turf management, irrigation, and golf course upkeep will give you a head start. A great attitude and willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate machinery and landscaping tools. A neat appearance and a warm, cheerful personality. Tact and good judgment are especially beneficial.
Schedule Requirements:
Full-time position with a schedule of 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM , including weekends.
